Agapi Stassinopoulos is an author and motivational speaker. She was born in Athens, Greece and educated at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London. She holds a Master's Degree in applied psychology from the University of Santa Monica. She is the author of Conversations with the Goddesses and Gods and Goddesses in Love, which has been translated in seven languages. Her one-woman show, Conversations with the Goddesses, became a PBS special and aired nationwide.
She is a frequent lecturer for women's groups and business conferences, and facilitates workshops and empowerment seminars for diverse audiences. She also works with teenagers, helping them build their self-esteem and realize their dreams.
Agapi recently collaborated with her sister, Arianna Huffington, to complete her book, On Becoming Fearless, from which her workshops were developed.

Representing aspects of the female psyche, these goddesses have touched the lives of countless women over time. The profound emotional experiences of womanhood -being a daughter, being a sister, becoming a wife, bearing a child, experiencing sexual passion, love, and jealousy- are as timeless as the myths themselves. Conversations with the Goddesses explores these ancient myths, revealing the personalities of seven female divinities -Aphrodite, Artemis, Athena, Demeter, Hera, Hestia and Persephone- to help women grow and understand their own emotional patterns, and to learn to balance and navigate the challenges of life.
