Bernadette is passionate about movement and sees everything we do as a part of "our great dance and movement is our expression and our meditation."
She is the proud Mom of Max & Noelle, Creator of the Just b Method, Creator /producer fitness DVDs,TV Fitness Expert, and is a certified personal trainer by NESTA and FiTour. Ron Fletcher, Mary Sisome, AAAI, and PHI certify me in Pilates. Currently she is a candidate to test for second-degree black belt in Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan.
As a teen, Bernadette had the privilege to dance in a unique program partnered with Joffrey Ballet in NYC, under the artistic direction of Gerald Arpino and Ballets Elan with artistic director and choreographer Paul Wagner. Her prior training was with Madame Mary E Sisome at the prestigious Academy of Dance.
After suffering severe injuries to her knees, that eventually led to multiple surgeries, Bernadette began to train more intensely with a renewed understanding and appreciation of Pilates that she knew as a dancer and developed Just b Method, her own method of exercising the body.
The Just b Method incorporates the fluid movement associated with ballet and martial arts as well as the lengthening moves of Pilates, while building strength using light weighted balls, resistance bands, and the Pilates Circle. The focus is always to counter a strength move with stretching to lengthen and tone and to aid in recovery. In addition, the use of these tools in the Just b Method, change the focus of each move making them more effective.
The Just b Method encourages us to honor our body as our vessel to experience this life – b fit! b thankful! b blessed! just b!

I found Bernadette by "accident" (NOT!) and realized she was instucting in my own back yard! I attend her classes in Jenkintown and sometimes Bala and use her dvd's at home, on a regular basis. I've developed more strength, tone, balance, grace and a sense of well being by being part of her classes and doing her dvds.
